Duke Health created tremendous growth opportunities in the Brier Creek area, including the need for additional services and supporting medical office space. How could Duke Health expand its footprint most efficiently?

The Solution

Davis Moore principals developed and executed a real estate strategy that includes the development of two additional facilities of 30,000 and 44,500 square feet, which includes primary care, urgent care, endoscopy services, women’s health, oral facial surgery, internal medicine, and ancillary services. The program was organized and executed over a 10 year period.

The Benefit

Duke Health was able to grow its organization in an important area of Raleigh as an early mover in Brier Creek. As the area has grown, Duke Health has expanded rapidly with occupancy costs that are much lower than competitors.
